Alpacini : I.N.I Odiawa, Airenonosumuan Ini-Ibeghe born 18 December 1988, stage name Alpacini other wise known as I.N.I, is a Nigerian rapper and Afro-Hip-Hop artist. He was born in Surulere, Lagos Nigeria and is from Edo state. Early life You could say I.N.I has got two kinds of blood running in his veins, the Benin blood and the Akwa-Ibom blood. A full blooded "South Side Son" born to Chief Wilson Odiawa and Pastor Mrs. Ekaette Odiawa, both of Nigerian descent. I.N.I spent his early years in the city of Lagos, in a household very influenced by music, reggae, rhythm and blues (R&B), gospel and traditional folk songs. As a chorister, his fondness for music grew fast and was articulated into other creative art forms, most specifically poetry, this made him discover his path as a rapper. During his adolescence, he would listen to tracks from Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Raskimono, R’Kelly, Biggy, Fat Joe, Nas, Ll Cool J, Jarule, Jay-Z, Diddy and DMX. He attended Pampers Private School, Alaka, Lagos, and then moved on to Command Secondary school Ipaja, Lagos, for his secondary education. He graduated from the Lagos State University with a B.Sc. in Political Science, intending to go study further. After some deep self-searching he changed his mind and decided to pursue his dream and develop his talent as an artiste. Musical Career I.N.I began his music career in 2008. After his stint in art class at Command Secondary School, Ipaja, Lagos, he delved into poetry while pursuing a career in Political Science at the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria. There as an up coming artiste, he performed at the school's hip hop shows, a few concerts and also events at the sister school, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka. While in higher institution, It was at this time that he met Olisa Ashibuogwu, a web and graphic designer, who introduced him to Kelechi Ehanmo, C.E.O Drimz Entertainment in 2010. Finding his place in an industry dominated by renowned rap giants, he quickly commenced musical production with friends. This led to the production of his first single "Too Bad", which gathered impressive embrace. He was later signed to Drimz Entertainment, a music label in Nigeria, which influenced the beginning of his music career in the Nigerian music industry.
