Susan Laney Spector

For over thirty-one seasons, I performed in the position of Second Oboe with the MET Orchestra. Since retirement, I have enjoyed devoting more time to genealogy research, restoring and archiving old photos, and writing posts for my genealogy blog "Talking Leaves." A full-season ticket holder at Citi Field since 2005, my husband and I "spend the summer months" (and beyond) attending most New York Mets home games. Depending upon the kind of season they're having and my level of motivation, I also write posts for my other blog devoted to the intersection of music and baseball, "Perfect Pitch." I enjoy reading, photography, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with my family and my two Westies, Tristan and Elsa.
